An Iranian bus crashed in southeastern Turkey on Friday, killing 17 people on board. The bus hit the back of the truck, which was carrying stones, The bus, which collided with a truck in Caldiran, near the Iranian border, was on its way to Iran from Syria. The Iranians were returning from a visit to religious sites in Syria.
14 of the passengers were killed instantly, while four others died in hospital. Twenty-six people, including the truck driver, were injured.
